Fort Preble- South Portland, ME

Built in 1808, Fort Preble was crucial for the Battle of Portland Harbor, and the fort was put out of use in 1950. It is now part of the Southern Maine Community College campus. With the Portland Harbor Museum inside of the fort, and Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse off of the peninsula.
